We specialise in Commercial Solutions with emphasis on humane solutions to pest problems. FlyEvidence was instrumental in the research and development of a humane fly deterrent, now marketed as BuzzyGo.
BuzzyGo is an innovative plastic dome with a complex, multi-layered surface that multiplies light to deter flies from entering living spaces. No chemicals are used making this an eco-friendly, effective solution for keeping areas fly-free.
The principle on which BuzzyGo is based, is the disruption of fly sensory systems, in particular visual acuity. The multiple reflective surfaces of BuzzyGo cause confusion as the fly approaches an open living space (e.g. open door or window), resulting in direction change and ultimately avoidance of the space.
Our scientific testing demonstrated that BUZZYGO effectively deters flies from entering living spaces 88% of the time. Impressively, even when flies were highly motivated by the presence of food attractants, BUZZYGO still deterred over 70% of flies from entering a living space, underlining its effectiveness under challenging conditions.
